Gospel man turned soul singer Paul Johnson, once snapped up by Sony during the eighties and these working as an indie artist, has made another of his forays back into recording with an excellent new single, Better Than This.
Released on Expansion on March 17, the song has been remixed by Soultalk and Dego & Kaldi [4hero], and is available as a seven-inch. A Frankie Knuckles mix will be forthcoming on April 19, as part of a 12-inch disc issued on Record Store Day.
You need to hear it: it’s excellent.
