Kingvention 2016: Dangerous Times

The 2016 edition of Kingvention, the first European convention dedicated entirely to pop legend Michael Jackson, will take place in London on September 10.
Set within the Park Plaza Hotel directly opposite Victoria Station, the event will occupy the entire lower ground floor of the venue, this year paying tribute to MJ’s record-breaking Dangerous album, released 25 years ago. Special guests include Thom Russo, Technical Director [Dangerous], Yuko Sumida Jackson, dancer during the Dangerous era, and Dan Beck, Former VP of Sales and Marketing at Sony Music. All will take part in live on-stage interviews, followed by a panel Q&A discussion. A performance from the London International Youth Choir, Exhibits, merchandise, photo opportunities, a screening and an evening celebration complete the agenda for the day.

Kingvention debuted in 2015, marking 20 years of the controversial HIStory album and featured interviews with Diana Walczak, the creator of the HIStory statue, Rob Hoffman, album engineer and Jonathan Morrish, former VP of Comms at Sony Music Europe.
