Following the success of this year’s Love Supreme Jazz Festival, which attracted a sell-out audience across the weekend in excess of 35,000 to Glynde Place in East Sussex, the organisers have announced the launch of Love Supreme At The Roundhouse, a one-day festival taking place at London’s Roundhouse on Saturday, May 5 2018. Running from 3pm until late, all areas of The Roundhouse complex will be utilized, incorporating talks, screenings, DJ sets and more.
Artists leading the event in the main room will include Mr. Jukes [a.k.a. Bombay Bicycle Club frontman Jack Steadman], multi-Grammy-winning US singer and keyboardist Cory Henry, techno-fuelled jazz outfit Moon Hooch and Echoes fave, UK soulstress Elli Ingram. There’ll be two additional stages curated by cutting-edge music blog EZH and barrier-busting contemporary jazz showcase Jazz In The Round. Lined-up to perform on the EZH stage are Soccer 96, Tenderlonious [solo] and Idiom. The Jazz In The Round programme will be announced in due course.
Ticket pre-sale begins today, Oct 24, with general on-sale from Friday October 27. Tickets start at £27 and are available from www.lovesupremefestival.com/tickets.
