Rising jazzy soulman Jarrod Lawson is to play a concert at London’s 02 Shepherd’s Bush on Saturday, November 14. It will be the only London performance of the year for the Portland based artist, following his two sold-out Jazz Café shows on April 11 and 12.
At the end of this month, on March 30, Jarrod also releases a limited edition vinyl mini-album, Jarrod Lawson At The BBC, on Dome Records. It includes one new Lawson composition, Soul Symphony, and a version of Anthony Hamilton’s The Point Of It All, described last week by Hamilton himself as, “a dope cover.”
Tickets for the 02 Shepherds Bush date, presented by Kennedy Street Enterprises and Byron Orme, go on general sale on Friday, March 6.
