Kiwanuka Shows & Album

With a brand new, long-awaited and altogether pretty bloody marvelous second album about to drop – Love & Hate is released early in June – Michael Kiwanuka has just announced a full tour of the UK and Ireland for the Autumn, his first home headline run for over four years.
The [so far] baker’s dozen of dates will kick off at The Art School in Glasgow on the October 6, concluding at The O2 Ritz in Manchester on the 22nd. The tour calls at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on the 11th.
In addition, Michael will perform at this year’s Great Escape in Brighton this weekend, the Latitude Festival in July, and Boardmasters Festival in August.

Love & Hate was produced by Michael in collaboration with Danger Mouse and young British producer Inflo, and marks a bold, confident and ultimately significant second step for the artist – one that has secured him a front cover billing on our June issue, published June 10.
