Lake Street Dive, whom we’ve been loving since their street vid performance of I Want You Back came our way a year or so back, not only have their debut album on the way in early May, but they’ve lined up a handful of live dates to help promote it.
One of the shows, at London’s Bush Hall on May 8, is already sold out, but there is a second London date – at the same venue on May 9 – and also shows at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival on Sunday, May 4, Birmingham Glee Club on Monday, May 5 and a gig at Brighton’s The Great Escape at some point between May 8-10 [though you’ll have to check online for the exact time/venue, which hasn’t been announced yet].

Their album, entitled Bad Self Portraits, will be released by Signature Sounds/Yep Roc Records on May 5.
