Benét’s Other One

Admirable soulman Mr Eric Benét has only just left us after a couple of live shows, but he has new product on the way at the end of April.
The Other One is, as its title cleverly alludes, a revisit to his 2012 album The One, this time with the input of The Afropeans. Thus is the music on the album considerably altered and reworked – from mainstream soul to electro, drum & bass and ambient atmospherics. You’ll definitely not have heard Eric sounding like this.
The Other One is available from April 28.
