Much revered UK soulstress Mica Paris is to head out on a special nationwide tour during February 2018 – singing the songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald.
Dates are:
London, Islington Assembly Hall [Feb 11]; Bristol, Fleece [13]; Manchester, Ruby Lounge [14]; Birmingham, Jam House [15]; and Leicester, 2Funky Café [16].
Mica was first introduced to the vocal brilliance of the First Lady Of Song as a child, growing up with a jazz-obsessed father who would play her music religiously. Back in April 2017 Mica released two tracks with trumpeter, jazz producer/arranger Guy Barker to celebrate the centenary of Ella Fitzgerald’s birth – namely Imagine My Frustration and Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye.
